A cashier at the University of Utah hospital cafeteria stole more than 0,000 from his register over about six years, according to a lawsuit filed Wednesday in 3rd District Court.
A surveillance video allegedly caught the 65-year-old man taking money in January 2009. An investigation comparing his receipts to those of other cashiers found he had been consistently taking money since December 2002, according to the civil suit, and his thefts totaled between about 0,000 and 0,000.
