SWAT standoff in Salt Lake City ends peacefully

After more than 14 hours of trying to coax an escaped Idaho prison inmate from a Salt Lake City hotel room, SWAT officers forcibly entered the room and arrested the man.
Taken into custody Saturday was Joe Dee Stang, 45, who fled an Idaho Falls work center on July 3. The convicted burglar is suspected of robbing a Salt Lake City Zions Bank branch Thursday.
