Murder suspect Roger Mortensen now faces federal weapons charges in connection with a cache of guns police found in his home while investigating the death of his father, ex-BYU professor Kay Mortensen.
Roger Mortensen was charged Wednesday with possessing firearms as a felon, which is a federal charge because several of the guns in his home were manufactured outside of Utah.
