A court-appointed receiver is suing the LDS Church for tithes made by a Utah man accused of securities fraud.
In a lawsuit filed Wednesday in U.S. District Court, Lon A. Jenkins claims that Robert Casey Hall fraudulently transferred 0,306 to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints through one of his companies and its entities.
