Pilot who died in glider crash identified

The pilot whod died Saturday in a glider crash in Morgan County has been identified as 55-year-old Warren Evans from South Ogden.
Evans was flying a single-seat glider with an enclosed cockpit. Morgan County Sheriff’s Sgt. Jason Lee said a plane pulled the glider into the air about 2:30 p.m. over Mahogany Canyon.
A two-seat glider was flying with the glider that crashed. The two-seater lost sight of Evans’ glider then later saw its wreckage on a mountainside, Lee said.
