Parents arrested after 5-year-old daughter is found dead in South Salt Lake

South Salt Lake • A South Salt Lake couple were arrested Tuesday on suspicion of felony child abuse after their 5-year-old daughter was found dead in their home.
Medical personnel responded to an apartment at 726 W. Timbercreek Way (3875 South) after a call shortly after 1 p.m. reporting that the girl’s heart had stopped, according to South Salt Lake Police Chief Chris Snyder.
