Missing woman found safe, South Salt Lake police say

Police found a woman who walked away from a South Salt Lake care facility shortly after publicizing her disappearance.
Initia Leota Kaifoto, 60, was with her niece for the day she was gone, according to a e-mail from South Salt Lake police Sgt. Gary Keller. She left the facility near 3000 S. State Street about 2 p.m. Friday and had been without her medication. Keller said the niece learned Kaifoto was missing from a TV news broadcast and called police.
