Man severely shocked at MagCorp

A Tooele man was severely shocked Thursday morning when he backed into a high-voltage power source at a magnesium plant near Interstate 80.
The man, 38, was working on a pole about 7:30 a.m. at MagCorp when he was shocked, said Tooele County sheriff’s Lt. Jeff Morgan. Morgan said it isn’t clear what object — a line or a box — the man backed into.
He fell to the ground and was without a pulse for a short time, Morgan said. Medics used a defibrillator to resuscitate him, and he was flown to Univ…
