Kennecott among those sued by widow in alleged wrongful death

The widow of a worker killed at Kennecott Copper has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the company.
William Kay, of Panguitch, was a truck driver who delivered a load of nine plastic pipes each weighing 3,000 pounds to the mine, according to the lawsuit filed Wednesday in state court in Salt Lake City. The pipe retailer, W.L. Plastics Corp., did not put chocking outside of the pipes to prevent them from rolling, the lawsuit says.
