Fires near I-215 suspicious, authorities say

Salt Lake Valley fire agencies were called to fight several blazes that started just before 2 p.m. Monday.
The fires ran from 3800 South to north of 2100 South near Interstate 215. While the cause of the fires is still under investigation, West Valley City fire Capt. Joe White said they appear to have been human-caused.
White said someone may have been driving on I-215 and throwing ignition sources out the window.
