Couple accused of ex-BYU prof’s murder appear in court

Provo • The son and daughter-in-law of a slain former BYU professor were arraigned Monday in 4th District Court on charges of first-degree felony murder.
Roger K. and Pamela Ann Mortensen are also charged with third-degree felony obstruction of justice in connection with the death of 70-year-old Kay Mortensen on Nov. 16 at his Payson home.
