Amber Alert team 7th in U.S. to be certified

The Utah team that responds when a child is abducted has become just the seventh in the nation to be certified.
The Utah Child Abduction Response Team, nicknamed CART, will mark the achievement at the Capitol with a ceremony at 9 a.m. Thursday. Certification required the team to perform a mock exercise and conform to standards set by the U.S. Department of Justice.
CART responds to Amber Alerts across Utah.
