Woman testifies about near-fatal rape on Provo River Trail

Provo • “Please help me, I’ve been raped.”
The 19-year-old woman who uttered those words spoke with difficulty as she sat huddled near the Provo River Trail, holding her knees with her face “covered in blood,” according to Conner Hall, who found her.
Testifying Thursday during a 4th District Court preliminary hearing, Hall said that upon discovering the woman that day in June last year, he recognized she was badly injured and immediately called 911.
