Granger High student slices off fingers in metal shop class

A student at Granger High School sliced off three fingers in a metal shop class Thursday afternoon.
The 18-year-old girl was attempting to cut a piece of metal on a saw about 1:45 p.m. when she was injured, said West Valley City Fire Lt. Bill Merritt.
